In the 1980s, C. Vincent (Vin) Prothro, Dr. William Neaves, and Phillip O'Bryan Montgomery III were instrumental in facilitating the donation by the John T. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation to UT Southwestern of the land on which the future North Campus would be located.
