Dr. Jean D. Wilson (1932-2021) was a Professor Emeritus of Internal Medicine, and over the years his research focused on cholesterol and the action of hormones. Dr. Wilson was honored with election to the National Academy of Sciences in 1983, and to the Institute of Medicine National Academy of Sciences in 1994. He received his medical degree from Southwestern Medical School in 1955 and joined the faculty in 1960.
