The centerpiece of the entry atrium of UT Southwestern's Seay Biomedical Building is a 16-foot tall orange glass sculpture by renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly. The work is titled Southwestern Seay Tower.

Biographical Note
The piece consists of 1,100 hand-blown glass elements, which were brought from the artist's Seattle studio and assembled on-site. The Seay Biomedical Building is named after the late philanthropists Charles E. and Sarah (Sadie) Seay.
