The 12-story Eugene McDermott Academic Administration Building was completed in 1974 as one of the group of buildings centered on the Eugene McDermott Plaza constructed at that time. The building houses major administrative offices and departments. The late Eugene McDermott and his family have been generous benefactors of UT Southwestern for many years.
