Some businesses in the vicinity of Parkland Hospital on Maple Avenue incorporated the Parkland name into their own. The Parkland Grocery & Market was located at 3824 Maple Avenue, according to the 1941 "Dallas City Directory." Parkland's name was also used by a drug store and barbecue stand in the vicinity.
