Dr. Errol C. Friedberg was a Professor of Pathology at UT Southwestern, and the author of several books. His history of UT Southwestern, published in 2007 by Carolina Academic Press, is titled, 'From Rags to Riches: The Phenomenal Rise of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.' In the book, he covers UT Southwestern's early years and then continues the history up to 2006.
