Dr. Eric J. Nestler was the Chairman of the Psychiatry Department at UT Southwestern from 2000 to 2008. He is a world-renowned molecular psychiatrist specializing in the mechanisms of alcohol and drugs in the brain. Dr. Nestler is currently at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.
