Dr. Kevan Namazi, was an internationally respected expert in long-term care for Alzheimer's disease patients, became the chairman of gerontology and geriatric services in 1996 at Southwestern Allied Health Sciences School. This school offered a bachelor of science degree in gerontology for many years.
