Paul C. Peters, Sr., M.D., was the Chairman of the Department of Urology at UT Southwestern for many years. He was instrumental in the formation of a kidney transplant program at Southwestern Medical School and Parkland Memorial Hospital and, in 1964, was the first to perform a kidney transplant in Dallas.
