Julius Weeks came to Southwestern Medical School in 1967 as Associate Dean for Business Affairs. He guided the fiscal affairs of the campus through its 1972 reorganization as the University of Texas Health Science Center, through the enormous expansion of the campus physical plant in the early 1970s, and through the era of continued growth that followed. He retired as Executive Vice President for Administration and Business Affairs in January, 1988.
