Dr. Paul Berg, Nobel laureate and Willson Professor of Biochemistry at Stanford University, visited UT Southwestern's campus. He presented the Virginia Lazenby O'Hara Lecture on 'Introducing Genes into Mammalian Cells'. Dr. Berg received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1980 for his fundamental studies of the biochemistry of nucleic acids, with particular regard to recombinant-DNA.
