Dr. William Gary Reed is Professor of Internal Medicine and Surgery at UT Southwestern, and holds two endowed professorships and a distinguished chair. In 2009, he received the first annual Patricia and William L. Watson Jr., M.D., Award for Excellence in Clinical Medicine. Dr. Reed received his medical degree from Southwestern Medical School in 1977 and joined the faculty in 1980.
