Dr. Ron Anderson was the President and CEO of Parkland Health and Hospital System. He succeeded Dr. Charles Mullins, who had left to join The University of Texas System in Austin as Executive Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs. Dr. Anderson was a Professor of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern and remained President and CEO of Parkland until November 2011. After stepping down as CEO of Parkland in 2011, he served as Senior Advisor to the CEO.
