Dr. Jack Reynolds taught radiology for 48 years at Southwestern Medical School, and received numerous outstanding teaching awards. He was a well-recognized expert in the field of diagnostic radiology. In 2001, a group of former students raised an endowment to create the Jack Reynolds, M.D., Chair in Radiology. Dr. Reynolds joined the Southwestern Medical School faculty in 1957. In 1991, he was named an Ashbel Smith Professor, one of the highest honors bestowed by the UT System Board of Regents. He taught full-time until 1995 and part time until 2005.
