Biographical Note
Dr. Kaplan (1931-2020) graduated from Southwestern Medical School in 1954 and joined the UT Southwestern faculty as an Instructor of Internal Medicine in 1961. His teaching, writing, and research focused primarily on the clinical aspects of hypertension.
