The Algur H. Meadows Diagnostic Imaging Center opened in 1991 to serve patients at both Zale Lipshy University Hospital and Parkland Memorial Hospital. Adjacent to Parkland, the Meadows Diagnostic Imaging Center houses three magnetic resonance imaging units for clinical diagnosis as well as for medical education and research. Funding for construction of the Meadows Center included support from the Meadows Foundation of Dallas.
