Description

Opened in 1999 on UT Southwestern’s North Campus, the eight-story Seay Biomedical Building adjoins the Simmons Biomedical Building and the Prothro Plaza and Gardens, and houses a variety of clinical and administrative offices, including the Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center. The lobby features a 16-foot high, 1,100 element glass sculpture by world-renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly. The building is named after the late philanthropists Charles E. and Sarah (“Sadie”) Seay. The Seays commissioned and donated the Chihuly sculpture.
