Dr. Peggy J. Whalley (1926-2021) was a 1956 graduate of Southwestern Medical School who went on to become a UTSouthwestern faculty member and renowned pioneer and expert in the management of high-risk pregnancy. At the time of this photo, she was an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Although digitized from an original photo, this image also appeared in the 1963 Southwestern Medical School yearbook, “Iatros.”
