Description
Southwestern Medical School photographed each incoming freshman student and then published a composite with all the freshman photos on one sheet. This composite photo depicts the freshman class, which entered in 1962. A future Nobel Prize winner was among the freshmen that year: Joseph L. Goldstein. He would go on to graduate from Southwestern, become a faculty member at Southwestern, and share the 1985 Nobel Prize for Medicine or Physiology with Michael S. Brown.
