Biographical Note
Dr. Charles C. Sprague was Dean of Southwestern Medical School from 1967-1972. In November, 1972, when the campus was reorganized and renamed The University of Texas Health Science Center at Dallas, he was appointed President, a position he held until his retirement in 1986.
