Dr. Morris Ziff, an expert in rheumatic diseases, joined the Southwestern Medical School faculty in 1958. His work led to the establishment of Southwestern's rheumatology unit, which became one of the most outstanding in the nation. He retired as Chairman of Rheumatology in 1984 but continued to work in his laboratory until 1998. In 1982, the Morris Ziff Professorship in Rheumatology was named in his honor. The photo has an inscription to Professor Donald Seldin, which is dated March 14, 1969.
