Dr. Ronald W. Estabrook joined the Southwestern Medical School faculty in 1968 and served as Chairman of the Biochemistry Department for 14 years. He was also the first dean of the UT Southwestern Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. He played a major role in turning UT Southwestern into an internationally-respected research center.
