The Southwestern Medical College Library occupied this building from 1943 to 1947 (Note: a similar photo appears in the 1944 through 1947 College yearbook, "Caduceus." By the publication of the 1948 yearbook, a different "Caduceus" photo indicates that the Library had moved to a building across Oak Lawn Avenue from the main campus).
