The Skillern Building (in the center), opened in 1965 as the Southwestern Medical School student center. It was expanded with an addition (on the right) several years later. After completion of the new Bryan Williams, M.D. Student Center (on the left) in 2002, it was renovated to house offices, including the Registrar and Student and Alumni Affairs. The building is named in recognition of support from the Skillern Family for its construction.
