In January of 1975, Sir Hans Adolf Krebs, co-winner of the 1953 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for his discovery of the citric acid cycle (also known as the Krebs cycle), came to speak at a Southwestern Medical School faculty seminar. In this photo, he is seated next to a standing Donald W. Seldin, M.D., who was Chairman of Internal Medicine at the time.
