The dedication of the Hoblitzelle Building with dignitaries on a fabricated stage and attendees sitting in folded chairs in front of the building and stage. A car is sitting off to the side of the audience.
Dignitaries and speakers were seated on a temporary raised platform in front of the building. Although first called the Clinical Science Building, less than one year after its dedication it was renamed in honor of Karl Hoblitzelle, a member of the Southwestern Medical Foundation Board of Trustees and a donor to Southwestern Medical School.
