This 2001 book by Adolph H. (“Buddy”) Giesecke was published the UT Southwestern. As the title indicates, the 137-page book recounts the history of the Anesthesiology Department at UT Southwestern and Parkland Memorial Hospital. Much of the book is devoted to the pioneering role played by M.T. (“Pepper”) Jenkins in the development of the Anesthesiology Department.
