Dr. Luis Leib practiced obstetrics and gynecology at St. Paul Medical Center from 1975 until his death. He graduated from Southwestern Medical School in 1957. As a UT Southwestern faculty member, he taught thousands of students and was widely and affectionately respected by his peers as a gifted physician, teacher, and mentor. He also served as president of the Dallas County Medical Society. In 1997, UT Southwestern endowed a professorship in his name. The Library has several artifacts that Dr. Leib used while practicing medicine.
