Description

Dr. Donald H. Slaughter was acting dean of Southwestern Medical College from its opening in 1943 until Tinsley Harrison became dean in 1944. Slaughter became dean of students after Harrison assumed deanship of the school. In this photograph, he is standing in front of the drawing--prepared by LaRoche and Dahl architects and dated 1942--for the proposed medical center campus on Harry Hines Blvd. at Oak Lawn Avenue.
