Southwestern Medical College had five fraternities, and this photo shows a meeting of the Infraternity Council. This Council consisted of a representative from each fraternity and a faculty advisor for each, with the Dean as Chairman. Standing (left to right) are: Dr. W. Lee Hart, Dean and Chairman, Dr. S. Edward Sulkin, and Dr. A.W. Diddle. Seated (left to right) are: Felix Vendrell, Frank Austin, Jules Hirsch, Tom Nesbitt, Dr. A.J. Gill, Dr. Margaret Watkins, and Christine Zarafonitis.
