The Florence Building is being constructed in front of the Cary Building. Upon completion, the Cary facade will be completely hidden. In the upper left, Parkland Memorial Hospital is visible, with its lower-level emergency entrance adjacent to the main entrance wing. In November, 1972, while the construction was in progress, the former Southwestern Medical School campus was reorganized to include three schools: Southwestern Medical School, the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, and the School of Allied Health Sciences, and was renamed 'The University of Texas Health Science Center at Dallas.'
