In 1922, Baylor University College of Medicine bought the former East Dallas City Hall, at the corner of Gaston Avenue and College Avenue to house its operations. Cary Hall was named after Dr. Edward H. Cary, who was dean of the College from 1903 to 1920. The building on the right is Ramseur Science Hall. Baylor University College of Medicine moved to Houston in 1943.
