The Southwestern University Medical Department (i.e., medical college) opened in 1903 as a branch of Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. This building was located on the corner of Bryan and Hall streets, across Hall Street from St. Paul Sanitarium. In 1911, the medical school affiliated with Southern Methodist University and became Southern Methodist University Medical Department. The medical school closed in 1915. The building was sold to Baylor University and later became Baylor University College of Dentistry. This photo was digitized from the 1908 "Annual" of Southwestern University.
