Baylor University Hospital grew into Baylor University Medical Center, adopting the new name in 1959. This drawing from about 1960 shows the Truett Hospital, completed in 1950, at the center of the drawing, and to the left the slightly later, architecturally-similar Women and Children's Hospital.
