Description

Parkland Hospital opened a School of Nursing in 1914. In 1921, this home for the nurses and student nurses was built adjacent to Parkland. The architect was Herbert M. Greene, whose firm also designed the Parkland's 1913 brick building. A third story was added in 1930, and building still stands as part of the Old Parkland private office park. The Parkland School of Nursing operated until 1955.
