Description

Some businesses in the vicinity of Parkland Hospital on Maple Avenue incorporated the Parkland name into their own. The Parkland Barbecue was located at 3816 Maple Avenue (between Oak Lawn and Shelby) according to the 1941 "Dallas City Directory". Parkland's name was also used by a drug store and grocery store in the vicinity.
