Dr. Peter Fitzgerald began as the Executive Vice-President for Business Affairs for UT Southwestern in March of 1988. He retired as the Executive Vice-President for Administration in January of 2001, and periodically served as a consultant to UT Southwestern after his retirement. He held a doctorate from Stanford University in higher education administration.
