Biographical Note
UT Southwestern's Jonsson Building was completed in 1972 and primarily houses research laboratories. The building is named in honor of Philip R. Jonsson, son of J. Erik Jonsson and Margaret Jonsson. J. Erik Jonsson (1901-1995) was a philanthropist and former mayor of Dallas.
