During a two-year study involving American Airlines, UT Southwestern researchers found that use of an AED can save the lives of sudden cardiac arrest victims aboard aircrafts as well as be used for monitoring patients. Dr. Page was on the faculty at UT Southwestern from 1992-2002, during which time he served as the Director of Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
