Completed in 1974 as part of the group of new buildings surrounding the new Eugene McDermott Plaza, the Tom and Lula Gooch Auditorium building houses an auditorium on the upper level and contains a food court, student store and meeting rooms on the lower level. The building is named after donors Tom and Lula Gooch. The McDermott Plaza atrium with its reflecting pool and art work, seen in the foreground, provides a pleasant view from the plaza's lower level spaces.
