On November 5, 1998, Nobel laureate Dr. James Watson gave a lecture on 'From the Double Helix to the Human Genome in 50 Years' to an overflowing crowd at The University of Texas Southwestern.
Dr. James Watson shared the 1962 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine with his colleagues Dr. Francis Crick and Dr. Maurice Wilkins for their discovery of the structure of DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid).
